Abstract
A compressor includes a compression portion (C, C1, C2) having a drive shaft (9), a first housing (1, 3, 27, 29, 35, 37, 49, 51) having an annular seal recess (11a, 23a, 28a, 35a, 35b, 37b, 49a, 51b), a second housing (1, 3, 31, 33, 39, 51, 53) having a facing surface (19a, 25a, 31a, 33a, 37a, 39a, 51a, 53a) facing the seal recess (11a, 23a, 28a, 35a, 35b, 37b, 49a, 51b) and cooperating with the first housing (1, 3, 27, 29, 35, 37, 49, 51) to accommodate the compression portion (C, C1, C2), a bolt (7, 47, 59) fixing the first housing (1, 3, 27, 29, 35, 37, 49, 51) and the second housing (1, 3, 31, 33, 39, 51, 53) in an axial direction, and a seal member (20, 41, 43, 45, 55, 57) accommodated in the seal recess (11a, 23a, 28a, 35a, 35b, 37b, 49a, 51b) in contact with the facing surface (19a, 25a, 31a, 33a, 37a, 39a, 51a, 53a) to create a seal between the first housing (1, 3, 27, 29, 35, 37, 49, 51) and the second housing (3, 31, 33, 39, 53). One of the first housing (1, 3, 27, 29, 35, 37, 49, 51) and the second housing (1, 3, 31, 33, 39, 51, 53) has a fitted surface (11b, 25b, 27a, 31b, 33b, 37c, 39b, 51d, 53b) that has a cylindrical shape extending in the axial direction and is located on atmosphere side of the seal recess (11a, 23a, 28a, 35a, 35b, 37b, 49a, 51b) and the other of the first housing (1, 3, 27, 29, 35, 37, 49, 51) and the second housing (1, 3, 31, 33, 39, 51, 53) has a fitting surface (19b, 23b, 27b, 31c, 35c, 35d, 37d, 49b, 51c) that is interference-fitted with the fitted surface (11b, 25b, 27a, 31b, 33b, 37c, 39b, 51d, 53b) by fixing the first housing (1, 3, 27, 29, 35, 37, 49, 51) and the second housing (1, 3, 31, 33, 39, 51, 53) with the bolt.
