Abstract

Provided are a method and an apparatus for purifying biomethane. The method includes a step of compressing a biogas; a step of injecting the compressed biogas into a first polymer separation membrane (51) to separate the compressed biogas into a first remaining portion stream and a first permeated portion stream; a step of injecting the first remaining portion stream into a second polymer separation membrane (52) to separate the first remaining portion stream into a second remaining portion stream and a second permeated portion stream; a step of selectively injecting the second remaining portion stream into a third polymer separation membrane (53) to separate the second remaining portion stream into a third remaining portion stream and a third permeated? portion stream or injecting the second remaining portion stream into a methane recovering portion; and a step of injecting the second permeated portion stream into a fourth polymer separation membrane (54) to separate the second permeated portion stream into a fourth remaining portion stream and a fourth permeated portion stream; and the apparatus that can carry out the same method.
