Abstract
This biological treatment device (10) includes: a biological treatment water tank (11) configured to treat organic substances contained in treatment water (W1); a membrane separation device (13) including a casing (2), and a tubular filter membrane (3) configured to partitioning the casing (2) into a concentrated-side space (S) to which outflow water (W2) flowing out from the biological treatment water tank (11) is supplied and a permeation-side space (P) in which permeated water (PW) separated from the outflow water (W2) is housed, and having a single-layer structure formed by copolymerization of hydrophilic monomers; a pressurizing pump (21) configured to pressurize outflow water (W2) and supply water that is pressurized to the concentrated-side space (S); a suction pump (22) configured to suck the permeated water (PW) from the permeation-side space (P); a pressure gauge (23) configured to measure a pressure of the permeation-side space (P); a return line (19) configured to allow concentrated water (W3) to return to the biological treatment water tank (11); and a control device (12) configured to control an amount of the outflow water (W2) supplied by the pressurizing pump (21) on the basis of a measurement value of the pressure gauge (23).
