Abstract

To provide a method of manufacturing a squirrel-cage rotor (30) that is a simplified device, that has reduced quality problems, and that is designed, due to the insulation between the secondary conductor and the rotor core (1), to improve the efficiency of the motor. The method for manufacturing the squirrel-cage rotor (30) is a manufacturing method of the squirrel-cage rotor (30) rotating about a rotation axis (C). The method includes a step of forming aluminum bars (7) and filling slots (6) formed, by an aluminum die-casting process, in the rotor core (1) with the aluminum, and a step of twisting the rotor core (1) about the rotation axis (C) after forming the aluminum bars (7).
