Abstract

A disposable diaper (1) includes a waist portion (40) and an absorbent main body (10). Elastic members (43) that stretch and contract in the lateral direction are provided in the upper end portion in the vertical direction of the waist portion (40), and a cutout (45) is provided in the upper end portion in the vertical direction on the front side in the front-rear direction of the waist portion (40). The waist portion (40) has multiple folding portions (170) that are folded in the lateral direction. The folding portions (170) include a pair of inner folding portions (172) that are located most inward in the lateral direction, and a pair of outer folding portions (171) that are located most outward in the lateral direction. The absorbent main body (10) has a front portion that is located on the front side of the center in the front-rear direction, and a back portion that is located on the rear side of the center in the front-rear direction. The pair of inner folding portions (172) are located on the rear side in the front-rear direction relative to the front portion of the absorbent main body (10), and the pair of outer folding portions (171) are located outward of the cutout (45) in the lateral direction.
