Abstract
An air conditioner of the present disclosure includes an indoor unit (1), which includes an indoor-side heat exchanger (5) having a first heat exchanging region (X) and a second heat exchanging region (Y), a pressure adjuster (12) provided between the first heat exchanging region (X) and the second heat exchanging region (Y) to adjust refrigerant pressure, and an indoor-side fan (6) that causes air from an aspiration port to exchange heat at the indoor-side heat exchanger (5) and to be formed into airflow blown out from a blow-out port (2b ). The second heat exchanging region (Y) and the first heat exchanging region (X) are disposed on the aspiration side of the air conditioner along the rotation direction of the indoor-side fan (6). The pressure adjuster (12) in the heating operation mode reduces pressure to cause the first heat exchanging region (X) to attain a first condensation temperature and the second heat exchanging region (Y) to attain a second condensation temperature lower than the first condensation temperature.
