A ventilated roof (100) designed to reduce accumulation of heat in a building. The battens (104) raises the roof tiles (102) off the rafter (103) thus creating an air space in between roof tiles (102) and rafter (103) to vent out hot air to the outside of a building. Also, at least one ventilator (105) is mounted on the ceiling (113) to provide adequate to optimal air ventilation inside a building while channeling warm/hot air out from the building through the attic space (112). Specially designed ridge tiles (101) with perforated holes at the bottom further allow warm/hot air to naturally convect upwards to the outdoors. As cooler ambient air is directed into the attic space (112) through a ventilation board (119), a balance in pressure will be achieved. As a result, the temperature in the attic space (112) can be reduced subsequently preventing less heat from being transferred into the living space. Most illustrative diagram: Figure 1
