Abstract

An automatic two-wheeled vehicle in which a pillion step is mounted on a step holder fixed to a vehicle body frame, a brake pedal is pivotably supported on the step holder, and an engine main body is disposed in front of a pivot frame, wherein the step holder ( 49) integrates a support portion (49a) fixed to the pivot frame (17) and a vertically extending portion (49c) that extends downward from the support portion (49a) so as to extend beneath a swing arm (27) as seen in the side view, at least part of a pedal shaft (55) is disposed at a position overlapping part of exhaust system (40) as seen in the side view, and a brake pedal (54) pivotably supported, via the pedal shaft (55), on the vertically extending portion (49c) beneath the swing arm (27) as seen in the side view is formed so as to have a vertical arm portion (54d) extending vertically so as to be disposed between the swing arm (27) and the step holder ( 49) in the vehicle width direction. This enables a brake pedal to be supported on a step holder with sufficient bearing capacity even when an exhaust system is disposed on one side, in the vehicle width direction, of the brake pedal.
