Abstract
The present invention relates toa non-intrusive method for assessing an asset?s integrity while in operation, the method characterised by the steps of: conducting a physical inspection on the asset to pre-determine actual condition of the asset; conducting an acoustic inspection on the asset to detect an active anomaly by pre-installing acoustic transducers on the asset, wherein profile changes from the acoustic inspection indicates active anomaly cause by active defect of the asset; and analysing the resulted physical and acoustic inspection to determine character, location as in linear orcircumferential position,and dimension including length, width and depth of the asset?s defect.
