Abstract

The present invention relates to an apparatus (100) for stripping an article from a mould, stretching the article and layering said article, characterised by: a first conveyor (110) having a stripping unit (120) for stripping the article from the mould and conveying the article; a track (130) having a surface that creates friction with the article held by the stripping unit (120); a second conveyor (170) positioned beneath the first conveyor (110) to receive the article from the stripping unit (120); a plurality of rollers associated with the second conveyor (170) for pressing the article conveyed by the second conveyor (170); a movable receiver (150) coupled to the second conveyor (170), for collecting the article from the second conveyor (170), and stacking the article; wherein the movable receiver (150) is vertically transposable to stack the article.
