Abstract
THE INVENTION PROVIDES PRECOATED STEEL SHEETS AND PRODUCTION PROCESSES THEREFOR IN WHICH A PHOTOCATALYST LAYER (COATING LAYER) AS THE OUTERMOST LAYER IS FORMED IN A DISCONTINUOUS (NETWORK) CONFIGURATION AND THEREBY AESTHETIC DETERIORATIONS BY UNEVENNESS IN TREATMENT RESULTS OR STREAKS OF AN INTERFERENCE COLOR CAN BE PREVENTED AND THE PRECOATED STEEL SHEETS ACHIEVE REQUIRED PERFORMANCES, FOR EXAMPLE UNIFORM APPEARANCE AND PROCESSABILITY, AS WELL AS OTHER PROPERTIES SUCH AS HIGH WEATHER RESISTANCE, AESTHETIC DURABILITY AND RESISTANCE TO DECOMPOSITION BY A PHOTOCATALYST. A PRECOATED STEEL SHEET INCLUDES A STEEL SHEET SUBSTRATE AND, ON AT LEAST ONE SURFACE THEREOF, A CLEAR COATING LAYER (A) WHICH CONTAINS A SILICON COMPOUND AS A MAIN COMPONENT AND WATER REPELLENT FINE PARTICLES (7) AS A DISPERSED COMPONENT AND A CLEAR COATING LAYER (B) WHICH IS STACKED ON THE CLEAR COATING LAYER (A) AND CONTAINS PHOTOCATALYTIC TITANIUM OXIDE FINE PARTICLES AS A MAIN COMPONENT.
