THE PRESENT INVENTION RELATES TO A DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MELTING ASPHALT, IN PARTICULAR TO AN ASPHALT-MELTING DEVICE AND METHOD ADAPTED FOR CARBON OR METALLURGY INDUSTRY, ETC. AN ASPHALT-MELTING DEVICE, COMPRISING: AN ASPHALT MELTER, A MANUAL ASPHALT VALVE, AN ASPHALT FILTER AND AN ASPHALT PUMP; A FEED PORT OF SAID ASPHALT MELTER IS IN COMMUNICATION WITH A DISCHARGE PORT OF A BUCKET-TYPE ELEVATOR; THE ASPHALT MELTER IS IN COMMUNICATION WITH A BUFFER TANK; AND THE BUFFER TANK IS IN COMMUNICATION WITH THE ASPHALT PUMP VIA A PIPELINE. THE ADVANTAGES AND EFFECTS OF THE PRESENT INVENTION CONSIST IN THAT IT UTILIZES ENERGY SOURCE EFFECTIVELY AND ENHANCES THE MELTING SPEED; THE ENTIRE MELTING PROCESS IS EASY TO REALIZE AN AUTOMATED CONTROL, SUCH THAT THE ASPHALT CLEANING AND MAINTAINING IS CONVENIENT AND THE LABOR INTENSITY FOR WORKERS IS REDUCED; THE FEEDING OF SOLID ASPHALT USES A SEALED STRUCTURE, SUCH THAT THE WORKSHOP HAS LITTLE DUST; AND THE ASPHALT FUME ACCUMULATES IN THE UPPER PART OF THE ASPHALT MELTER, SUCH THAT IT IS EASY TO BE COLLECTED BY A DECONTAMINATION DEVICE FOR CENTRALIZED DISPOSING.
