Abstract
The present invention relates to a system and method for propagating VLAN traffic over a wireless multi-hop network. The system (100) comprises of a physical ingress module (110), two labeller modules (120), two splitter modules (130), at least one virtual ingress module (140), at least one virtual egress module (150), a physical egress module (160), a virtual backhaul module (170), an interface virtualization module (180), and at least one dummy virtual module (190). The system (100) duplicates data packets received to transmit the data packet to the other systems (100) in the following hop. The most illustrative drawing:
