Abstract
THE PRESENT INVENTION RELATES TO A METHOD FOR REMOVING PHENOL BY USING ENCAPSULATED TYROSINASE.THE METHOD FOR REMOVING PHENOL COMPRISES OF PROVIDING AN ENZYME, ENCAPSULATING THE ENZYME TO A SUPPORT STRUCTURE PRODUCING AN ENCAPSULATED ENZYME, CONTACTING THE ENCAPSULATED ENZYME WITH A PHENOL CONTAINING SOLUTION AND ALLOWING THE ENCAPSULATED ENZYME AND THE PHENOL CONTAINING SOLUTION TO REACT FORMING A.PRECIPITATE. THE ENCAPSULATED ENZYME IS REUSABLE FOR ANOTHER PHENOL REMOVAL.THE PRESENT INVENTION ALSO RELATES TO A METHOD FOR ENCAPSULATING THE ENZYME TO THE SUPPORT STRUCTURE.
