Abstract

STYRENE-BASED RESIN COMPOSITION, BIAXIALLY ORIENTED STYRENE-BASED RESIN SHEET, AND MOLDED ARTICLE THEREOF A styrene-based resin composition is provided, which can improve moldability in a variety of molding methods while the practical strength of a molded product obtained using a styrene-acryl-based resin composition is maintained, is obtained by copolymerizing a hyperbranched macromonomer, a styrene-based monomer, and an acrylate ester at a specific ratio, and has a specific weight average molecular weight and a specific molecular weight distribution; and furthermore, a biaxially oriented styrene-based resin sheet is provided, which is a styrene-based resin sheet obtained using the above styrene-based resin composition, is excellent in terms of optical characteristics, is sufficient in terms of mold-reproducibility or the punching properties of a molded article in the radiation-heating pressure & vacuum forming method, can produce a favorable molded product having no thickness deviation, allows the heating time range to be set to 1 second or more, and is also excellent in terms of productivity during a secondary working.
