Abstract
THE PRESENT INVENTION RELATES TO A COOLING SYSTEM, AND PARTICULARLY TO A FORCED COOLING SYSTEM OF AN ALUMINUM ELECTROLYSIS CELL. THE PRESENT INVENTION IS ACHIEVED AS FOLLOWS: A FORCED COOLING SYSTEM OF ALUMINUM ELECTROLYSIS CELL, WHEREIN AN AIR-EXTRACTING-END PIPE IS PROVIDED IN A COMPARTMENT IN THE SIDE PORTION OF AN ALUMINUM ELECTROLYSIS CELL, THE AIR-EXTRACTING-END PIPE IS COMMUNICATED WITH A VENTILATION TRUNK PIPE, THE VENTILATION TRUNK PIPE IS COMMUNICATED WITH A VENTILATION MAIN PIPE, AND THE VENTILATION MAIN PIPE IS CONNECTED WITH AN AIR-EXTRACTOR. THE SYSTEM ACCORDING TO THE PRESENT INVENTION IS SIMPLE IN STRUCTURE, LOW IN COSTS, AND EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND DISASSEMBLE, MANAGE AND MAINTAIN. A CERTAIN NUMBER OF HEAT FINS ARE WELDED TO THE SIDE PORTION OF THE ELECTROLYSIS CELL, SPECIALLY SHAPED AIR EXTRACTING LINE ARE MOUNTED SO THAT THE LINE PORT IS ADJACENT TO THE HIGH-TEMPERATURE AREA OF THE SIDE PORTION OF THE ELECTROLYSIS CELL, WHEREBY THE HIGH-TEMPERATURE AIR LAYER ADJACENT TO HIGH-TEMPERATURE WALL SURFACE OF THE ELECTROLYSIS CELL IS DESTROYED AND TRANSFERRED BY AIR-EXTRACTING OR AIR-BLOWING THROUGH THE LINE TO ENHANCE AIR FLOW ADJACENT TO THE WALL SURFACE AND INTENSIFY CONVECTION HEAT EXCHANGE SO AS TO ACHIEVE THE OBJECT OF COOLING THE ELECTROLYSIS CELL.
