THE PROCESS CAN ECONOMICALLY BE SCALED UP FOR THE PRODUCTION OF ARGININE FROM UNREFINED SUGAR SOURCES AS IT PRODUCED ARGININE IN HIGHER YIELDS, WHEN COMPARED TO MORE EXPENSIVE SYNTHETIC CARBON SOURCES, LIKE DEXTROSE OR SUCROSE.
