Abstract
THE PRESENT INVENTION PROVIDES AN ELECTROCHEMICAL SYSTEM (1) FOR PRODUCING NANOPOROUS STRUCTURES IN A RELIABLE, FAST AND COST-EFFECTIVE MANNER. THE PRESENT INVENTION FURTHER PROVIDES A PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE NANOPOROUS STRUCTURES. THE PRESENT INVENTION ALSO PROVIDES A NANOPOROUS ALUMINA OF WHICH THE PORE SIZES ARE CONTROLLED BY CHOOSING THE TYPES OF ELECTROLYTES USED AND EMPLOYING A POST-ANODIZATION TREATMENT.
