THERE ARE PROVIDED AN AMINO ACID SEQUENCE HAVING ACTIVITY THAT IMPARTS AGGLUTINABILITY TO YEASTS, A GENETIC DNA CODING FOR AN AMINO ACID SEQUENCE HAVING ACTIVITY THAT IMPARTS AGGLUTINABILITY TO YEASTS, AND A METHOD FOR BREEDING A YEAST HAVING AGGLUTINABILITY THAT HAS BEEN IMPARTED OR ENHANCED UTILIZING THE GENETIC DNA. THE AMINO ACID SEQUENCE COMPRISES FOUR OR MORE TIMES OF REPETITION OF A SEQUENCE INDICATED BY ANY OF SEQUENCE NUMBERS 1 TO 3. THE DNA CODES FOR THE AMINO ACID SEQUENCE. THE YEAST HAS BEEN GENETICALLY MODIFIED SO THAT AN AMINO ACID SEQUENCE INDICATED BY ANY OF SEQUENCE NUMBERS 1 TO 3 IS REPEATED FOUR OR MORE TIMES. THE METHOD FOR BREEDING A YEAST IS CHARACTERIZED BY INTRODUCING AN AMINO ACID SEQUENCE COMPRISING FOUR OR MORE TIMES OF REPETITION OF A SEQUENCE INDICATED BY ANY OF SEQUENCE NUMBERS 1 TO 3 INTO A YEAST TO GENETICALLY MODIFY THE YEAST.
