Abstract
PROVIDED ARE A METHOD FOR CONTROLLING ACTIVITY OF MICROORGANISMS, AN ICE MAKING APPARATUS WITH AN AUTOMATIC ANTIBACTERIAL PROCESSING FUNCTION, AND A WASHING MACHINE WITH AN AUTOMATIC ANTIBACTERIAL PROCESSING FUNCTION. THE MICROORGANISM ACTIVITY CONTROL METHOD INCLUDES BRINGING A MICROORGANISM AND/OR AN ANIMAL OR PLANT CELL INTO CONTACT WITH AN ION, PREFERABLY A SILVER ION, WHILE IRRADIATING THE MICROORGANISM OR THE LIKE WITH A BEAM OF LIGHT HAVING A PEAK WAVELENGTH IN THE RANGE OF 300 TO 600 NM AND AN IRRADIATION INTENSITY OF 500 TO 500000 µW/CM2. THE ICE MAKING APPARATUS WITH AN AUTOMATIC ANTIBACTERIAL PROCESSING FUNCTION AND THE WASHING MACHINE WITH AN AUTOMATIC ANTIBACTERIAL PROCESSING FUNCTION ARE EACH PROVIDED WITH A STRUCTURE THAT IS ABLE TO IMPLEMENT THIS MICROORGANISM ACTIVITY CONTROL METHOD.
