THE PRESENT INVENTION RELATES TO A PROCESS FOR PRODUCING AN JET FUEL FROM A COAL LIQUEFIED OIL, CHARACTERIZED IN THAT SAID PROCESS COMPRISES THE STEPS OF: FILTERING THE COAL LIQUEFIED OIL FEEDSTOCK, FEEDING INTO A HYDROSTABILIZING REACTOR, CONTACTING WITH HYDROGEN, A HYDROGENATION GUARD CATALYST AND A HYDRO-STABILIZING CATALYST THEREIN TO CONDUCT A REACTION, SEPARATING THE EFFLUENT OBTAINED FROM THE HYDRO-STABILIZING REACTOR, FEEDING A MIDDLE FRACTION OBTAINED BY SAID SEPARATION INTO A HYDROUPGRADING REACTOR, CONTACTING WITH HYDROGEN, A HYDROREFINING CATALYST AND A HYDRO-UPGRADING CATALYST THEREIN TO CONDUCT A REACTION, SEPARATING THE EFFLUENT OBTAINED FROM THE HYDRO-UPGRADING REACTOR SO AS TO OBTAIN THE JET FUEL. IN SAID PROCESS, THE COAL LIQUEFIED OIL IS USED AS THE FEEDSTOCK FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A QUALIFIED HIGH DENSITY JET FUEL WITH THE MAXIMUM YIELD, WHEREIN THE YIELD OF THE JET FUEL IS AS HIGH AS 45WT%, AND THE DENSITY THEREOF IS MORE THAN 0.84 G/CM".
