WASHING AND DRYING MACHINE (1) PERFORMS A DRYING PROCESS BY CONTROLLING AN AIR CIRCULATION AND THE ROTATION OF DRUM DRIVING MOTOR (4) SUCH THAT DAMP AIR IN ROTARY DRUM (5) IS DISCHARGED AND RETURNED TO ROTARY DRUM (5) AFTER BEING DEHUMIDIFIED AND HEATED. THE DRYING PROCESS HAS AT LEAST REFERENCE DRYING CONTROL PROCESS (A) FOR CONTROLLING THE ROTATION OF DRUM DRIVING MOTOR (4) SUCH THAT AT LEAST THREE KINDS OF ROTATION CONTROL MODES ARE REPEATED FOR PREDETERMINED TIME PERIODS, RESPECTIVELY. THE RESPECTIVE ROTATION CONTROL MODES HAS A DIFFERENT ROTATIONAL SPEED OF ROTARY DRUM (5) CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DIFFERENT DISPLACEMENT MOVEMENT OF LAUNDRY IN ROTARY DRUM (5) BY THE ROTATION OF ROTARY DRUM (5), AND EACH ROTATION CONTROL MODE HAS A ROTATING PERIOD AND AN IDLE PERIOD OF ROTARY DRUM (5) FOR EACH ROTATIONAL DIRECTION WITH RESPECT TO EACH ROTATIONAL SPEED.
