IN A WASHER (1) HAVING A WATER INTAKE PORT (3A) THAT IS CONNECTED TO A WATER SUPPLY FACILITY LOCATED OUTSIDE THE WASHER AND A WATER FEED PORT (3A) THAT COMMUNICATES WITH THE WATER INTAKE PORT (3A) AND IS OPEN TOWARD A WASHING TUB (6), AN IMPURITY REMOVING DEVICE (4) FOR REMOVING IMPURITIES FROM WATER IS PROVIDED BETWEEN THE WATER INTAKE PORT (3A) AND WATER FEED PORT (5). THE IMPURITY REMOVING DEVICE (4) INCORPORATES A FILTER (34) FORMED OF NONWOEN FABRIC, AND FILTERS THEREWITH THE WATER TAKEN IN THROUGH THE WATER INTAKE PORT TO REMOVE IMPURITIES THEREFROM.(FIG. 2)
