Abstract
A SYSTEM IS PROVIDED FOR MEASURING WATER CONTENTS IN OIL FLOW AND AUTOMATICALLY CONTROLLING OIL FLOW. THE SYSTEM COMPRISES A PULARITY OF DETECTORS (14) FOR QUANTITATIVELY DETECTING IMPURITIES OR WATER CONTENS IN OIL FLOW WITHIN PIPES(12).THE DETECTED ELECTRIC SIGNALS ARE CONVERTED INTO DATA SIGNALS AND AMPLIFIED BY A CONVERTER (16). IN A MICROPROCESSOR (20), THE DATA SIGNALS ARE PROCESSED BY A CPU (21) INSTALLED WITH A PROGRAM TO CALCULATE WATER CONTENTS IN OIL FLOW,AND THE CALCULATED VALUES ARE OUTPUTTED IN REAL TIME OR STORED IN A STORAGE (22). ALSO, THE CPU (21) IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CONTROLLING THE SYSTEM. A MONITOR (24) FOR DISPLAYING DATA AND RESULT CONCERNING THE WATER CONTENTS INPUTTED FROM THE MICROPROCESSOR (20), AND A PRINTER (26) FOR PRINTING THE DATA AND RESULT CONCERNING THE WATER CONTENTS ARE ALSO PROVIDED FOR THE SYSTEM.BASED ON THE CONTROLLING SIGNALS INPUTTED FROM THE MICROPROCESSORS (20), AN OIL-TRANSFER INTERRUPTER (10) ACTS TO INTERRUPT THE FLOWING OF OIL THROUGH THE OIL PIPE (12). WHEN OIL STREAMS FLOWING THROUGH OIL PIPES (12) ARE DETECTED TO CONTAIN WATER CONTENTS ABOVE A PREDETERMINED LIMIT,THIS SYSTEM ACTS TO INTERRUPT OIL FLOW WHILE THE SITUATION IS VISUALIZED ON THE MONITOR (24).
