A CRT COMPRISING CPM HAVING CONVERGENCE MARGINE ENLARGEMENT MEANS IS PROVIDED. A CRT HAVING A CPM FOR ADJUSTING CONVERGENCE PROVIDED BETWEEN AN ELECTRON GUN AND A DEFLECTION YOKE, A LOCKER FOR MAKING MAGNETS CONSTITUTING SAID CPM TO CLOSELY CONTACT EACH OTHER, AND A SUPPORTER FOR SUPPORTING SAID CPM, CHARACTERIZED IN THAT MEANS FOR ENLARGING CONVERGENCE MARGINE OF AN ELECTRON BEAM PASSING THROUGH THE CPM IS PROVIDED ON THE INNER SURFACE OF SAID SUPPORTER IN A DIRECTION PERPENDICULAR TO MAGNETS CONSTITUTING SAID CPM. THUS, AN ERROR IN LANDING OF AN ELECTRON BEAM PASSING THROUGH THE CPM CAN BE MINIMIZED. ACCORDINGLY, THE ELECTRON BEAM CAN ACCURATELY FOCUS ON A PANEL AND THUS A BETTER QUALITY IMAGE CAN BE OBTAINED.
