Abstract

A THREE-PHASE EMULSION SYSTEM IS PROVIDED WHICH COMPRISES FROM 2TO 30BY WT. EMULSIFIER; FROM 20TO 80BY WT. OF ONE OR MORE OIL-BASED FUNCTIONAL INGREDIENTS; FROM 20TO 80BY WT. SILICONE OIL; AND FROM 0.1TO 30BY WT. WATER. THE EMULSION IS IN A WATER CONTINUOUS OR OIL - CONTINUOUS FORM. THE COMPOSITION IS SUCH THAT LOSS OF FUNCTIONAL INGREDIENTS IN A WASH SITUATION IS MINIMIZED AND THAT THE EMULSIONS HAVE ENHANDED OCCLUSIVE PROPERTIES.
