Abstract

A VEHICULAR AIR CONDITIONER INCLUDES COOL WIND DUCTS (2, 3) ARRANGED IN THE CEILING OF A VEHICLE ALONG THE LONGITUDINAL DIRECTION OF THE VEHICLE AND THE DUCTS INCLUDE A PLURALITY OF COOL WIND OUTLETS (4) FOR BLOWING OUT COOL WINDS INTO THE COMPARTMENT OF THE VEHICLE AND AN INLET (9) FOR SUCKING THE AIR FROM THE COMPARTMENT.A COOLING HEAT EXCHANGER (7) IS ARRANGED IN EACH OF THE COOL WIND DUCTS (2, 3) AND FORMED TO EXTEND LONGITUDINALLY OF THE VEHICLE FOR COOLING THE AIR SUCKED FROM THE INLET (9). A SHROUD (10) IS FORMED TO EXTEND ALONG THE LONGITUDINAL DIRECTION OF THE VEHICLE AND ARRANGED TO COVER THE COOLING HEAT EXCHANGER IN THE COOL WIND DUCT (2, 3) FOR DEFINING THE DRAFT PASSAGE OF THE COOLING HEAT EXCHANGER. AIR OUTLETS (10B) ARE FORMED IN THE SHROUD DOWNSTREAM OF THE AIR FLOW OF THE COOLING HEAT EXCHANGER (7) AND IN THE FACE (10C) EXTENDING ALONG THE LONGITUDINAL DIRECTION OF THE VEHICLE. A PLURALITY OF BLOWERS (11, 12) ARE ARRANGED IN THE COOL WIND DUCTS (2,3) IN PARALLEL OUTSIDE OF THE FACE (10C) OF THE SHROUD (10), WHICH IS FORMED WITH THE AIR OUTLETS (10B). THE PLURALITY OF BLOWERS (11, 12) INCLUDE SCROLL CASINGS HAVING INLETS (11C, 12C) FORMED AT ONE SIDE OF THEIR CENTRAL PORTIONS FOR SUCKING AIR FROM THE DOWNSTREAM OF THE COOLING HEAT EXCHANGER (7) THROUGH THE AIR OUTLETS (10B) AND OUTLETS (11E, 12E) FORMED IN THEIR OUTER CIRCUMFERENCES AND OPENED IN THE COOL WIND CUTS (2, 3); AND CENTRIFUGAL FANS (11D, 12D) ARE DISPOSED IN THE SCROLL CASINGS (11B, 12B) FOR BLOWING THE AIR SUCKED FROM THE INLETS (11C, 12C) TOWARD THE OUTLETS (11E, 12E).(FIG 1)
