IN AN EDDY CURRENT MEASURING DEVICE FOR AN INDICATOR INSTRUMENT WITH A ROTARY MAGNET ATTACHED TO A DRIVE SHAFT SUCH THAT IT CANNOT BE ROTATED INSTALLED VIS-A-VIS AN EDDY CURRENT BODY MADE OF AN ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE MATERIAL INSTALLED SUCH THAT IT CANNOT BE ROTATED ON AN INDICATOR SHAFT, WHICH MAGNET IS DESIGNED TO TRANSMIT AN INITIAL TORQUE TO THE INDICATOR SHAFT WHEN THE DRIVE SHAFT IS TURNED AND WITH A SECOND TORSION SPRING TRANSMITTING TORQUE, IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION TO THE INITIAL TORQUE, TO THE INDICATOR SHAFT, FITTED WITH A RETURN CLOSURE ELEMENT BEHIND THE EDDY CURRENT BODY AND/OR BEHIND THE ROTARY MAGNET AND A TEMPERATURE-DEPENDENT COMPENSATION ELEMENT FOR COMPENSATION OF AN ATTENUATION OF THE MAGNETIC FIELD OF THE ROTARY MAGNET AND REDUCTION OF THE CONDUCTIVITY OF THE EDDY CURRENT BODY WITH INCREASING TEMPERATURES, THE COMPENSATION ELEMENT (14-17) IS TO BE DESIGNED AS A SPRING ELEMENT SUCH AS TO REDUCE THE SECONDARY TORQUE TRANSMITTED FROM THE TORSION SPRING (11) TO THE INDICATOR SHAFT (10) OR MAINTAIN THE CONSTANCY OF THE INITIAL TORQUE TRANSMITTED TO THE EDDY CURRENT BODY (9) AT INCREASING TEMPERATURES.(FIG. 1)
