Abstract

TO PROVIDE AN ENGINE HANGER (7) REDUCED IN WEIGHT AND SIZE.AN ENGINE HANGER (7) IS FORMED SUBSTANTIALLY INTO A T-SHAPE IN A SIDE VIEW. MOUNTING HOLES (40, 41) ARE FORMED FORE AND AFT IN THE UPPER PORTION OF THE ENGINE HANGER (7), AND A MOUNTING HOLE (42) IS FORMED IN THE LOWER PORTION OF THE ENGINE HANGER (7). A NECK PORTION (50) IS PROVIDED AT AN INTERMEDIATE PORTION OF THE ENGINE HANGER (7), AND A TWISTING CENTER (51) IS POSITIONED AT A MINIMUM WIDTH PORTION OF THE NECK PORTION (50). WITH THIS ARRANGEMENT, IT IS POSSIBLE TO REDUCE EACH AMPLITUDE OF VIBRATION IN THE VERTICAL DIRECTION, AND HENCE TO LOWER THE RIGIDITY OF THE ENTIRE ENGINE HANGER (7). AS A RESULT, THE WEIGHT AND SIZE OF THE ENGINE HANGER (7) CAN BE REDUCED.(FIG. 1)
