Abstract

THE INVENTION RELATES TO A METER MOVEMENT HAVING A GEAR MECHANISM, IN WHICH THE ROTATION OF THE DRIVE SHAFT (4) CAN BE TRANSMITTED TO AN INTERMEDIATE SHAFT (1) VIA A FIRST PAIR OF GEAR WHEELS AND FROM THE INTERMEDIATE SHAFT (1) TO A METER MOVEMENT DRIVE VIA A SECOND PAIR OF GEAR WHEELS. A FIRST GEAR WHEEL IS ARRANGED ON THE DRIVE SHAFT AND A SECOND GEAR WHEEL IS ARRANGED ON THE METER MOVEMENT DRIVE.THE COMPONENTS OF THE PAIRS OF GEAR WHEELS ON THE INTERMEDIATE SHAFT (1) ARE DESIGNED AS A CYLINDRICAL WORM (6) AND AT LEAST ONE GEAR WHEEL (2,2A,3) IS DESIGNATED AS A SEMI- GLOBOIDAL WHEEL (2,3).(FIG. 1)
