Abstract
THE PRESENT INVENTION GENERALLY RELATES TO A NOISE SUPPRESSOR FOR SUPPRESSING EXHAUST NOISE FROM AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE. THE NOISE SUPPRESSOR COMPRISES A MUFFLER (10) PARTITIONED INTO FIVE CHAMBERS, AN INLET PIPE (20) AND AN OUTLET PIPE (30). A PLURALITY OF INNER PIPES (21, 22) ARE PROVIDED TO COMMUNICATE ONE CHAMBER TO THE OTHER SO THE EXHAUST GASES CAN PASS THROUGH THE CHAMBER IN THE PROCESS OF REDUCING THE EXHAUST PRESSURE AND HENCE THE NOISE LEVEL.
