Abstract

A JOINTING DEVICE HAS A FIRST AND SECOND SEMICYLINDRICAL MEMBERS FOR RESPECTIVELY COVERING THE UPPER AND LOWER SEMI-PERIPHERIES OF TWO CORRUGATED CONDUITS TO BE CONNECTED. THESE MEMBERS, MOLDED INTO THE SAME SIZE AND SHAPE BY A COMMON MOLD, ARE EACH PROVIDED WITH HOOKED PROTRUSIONS AND HOLES ARRANGED SYMMETRICALLY WITH RESPECT TO THE CENTRAL TRANSVERSE PLANE THEREOF. ON THE INNER PERIPHERY OF EACH MEMBER, A CORRUGATION IS FORMED INTO A SHAPE SUCH THAT A CORRUGATION SHAPE VIEWED FROM THE CENTER OF THE SEMICYLINDRICAL MEMBER TOWARD ONE END THEREOF IN THE LONGITUDINAL AXIAL DIRECTION OF THE MEMBER IS COMPLEMENTARY TO A CORRUGATION SHAPE VIEWED FROM THE CENTER OF THE MEMBER TOWARD THE OTHER END THEREOF. WHEN THE SEMICYLINDRICAL MEMBERS ARE ABUTTED, THE CORRUGATIONS FORMED THEREIN BECOME CONTINUOUS AND ADAPTED TO THE CORRUGATIONS ON THE OUTER PERIPHERY OF THE CONDUITS. THE PROTRUSIONS FORMED IN THE SEMICYLINDRICAL MEMBERS RESPECTIVELY ENGAGE WITH THE CORRESPONDING HOLES FORMED THEREIN, BY WHICH THE CORRUGATED CONDUITS ARE FIRMLY CONNECTED. @@(FIG. 1).
