THE PRESENT INVENTION RELATES TO NOVEL POSITIVE INOTROPIC AND LUSITROPIC COMPOUNDS OF FORMULA THE PHARMACEUTICAL ACCEPTABLE ACID ADDITION SALTS THEREOF AND THE STEROECHEMICALLY ISOMERIC FORMS THEREOF WHEREIN L IS A RADICAL OF FORMULA -O-ALK-(NH)P -C(=O)R1, PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITIONS THEREOF, METHODS OF PREPARING SAID COMPOUNDS AND INTERMEDIATES IN THE PREPARATION THEREOF.
