Abstract
A GAS MIXER 6 FOR THE INLET MANIFOLD OF AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE IS DESIGNED TO SUPPLY AN ALTERNATIVE FUEL SUCH AS LIQUID PETROLEUM GAS (LPG) OR COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS (CNG) TO THE ENGINE. THE GAS MIXER 6 INCLUDES AN AIRFLOW PASSAGEWAY 2, A MAIN FLOW AXIS 4, AND A GAS DUPPLY TUBE 1 HAVING A RECTANGULAR SECTION 3 WITH AN OUTLET 5 ORIENTED ACROSS THE AIRFLOW PASSAGEWAY, CONNECTED THROUGH THE MIXER WALL 12 TO A CIRCULAR GAS INLET SECTION 13 ADAPTED FOR CONNECTION TO A GAS SOURCE. THE OUTLET 5 HAS A PROTRUDING LEADING EDGE 8 WHICH IS WITHIN AND SUBSTANTIALLY PERPENDICULAR TO THE AIR FLOW AXIS 4. (FIG. 2)
Aspirating thermodynamic valve capable of controlling the flow of fuel mixture and air from the carburetor to the crankcase of a 2-stroke engine the invention relates to an aspirating thermodynamic valve capable of controlling the flow of fuel mixture and air from the carburetor to the crankcase of a 2-stroke engine
