Abstract

A TELEVISION RECEIVER IS PROVIDED WITH TWO OR MORE INPUT TERMINALS FOR RECEIVING RESPECTIVE RH INPUT SIGNALS OFF- AIR FROM AN ANTENNA AND FROM AN AUXILLARY DEVICE, SUCH AS A PERSONAL COMPUTER OR A VIDEO GAME. THE AUXILLARY INPUT IS LOCATED ON A FRONT PANEL OF THE CABINET OF THE RECEIVER FROM IMPROVED EASE OF CONNECTING AND DISCONNECTING THE AUXILLARY DEVICE. CHANNEL AND INPUT SELECTION IS BY MEANS OF A PLURALITY OF MANUALLY ACTUABLE CHANNEL SELECTING SWITCHES AND A MANUALLY ACTUABLE SECOND TERMINAL SELECTING SWITCH MOUNTED ON THE CABINET OF THE RECEIVER, WHICH ARE INTERLOCKED TO ENSURE THAT ONLY ONE SWITCH AT A TIME IS ACTUATED AND ENABLES THE OPERATOR TO SELECT A CHANNEL OR THE AUXILLARY DEVICE IN A SINGLE ACTUATION.(FIG 6)
