Description
CONTAINER THAT CONTAINS AN ANTI-LEAK PIECE AND ANTI-LEAK PIECE.
The present invention concerns the containers provided with an opening in the upper part and more particularly but not exclusively the containers containing an applicator comprising a rod provided at one end of a fixing member that also constitutes a closing cap and in the other tip of an application element.
Such containers are used for the conditioning of liquids such as nail varnishes for example.
It has been proposed in US Pat. No. 3,146,806 to insert into the neck of a container a shutter, constituted by a disc radially slit to form flexible sectors that close the opening of the container when the applicator is removed, to prevent spillage of the liquid contained in the container. the container in case of accidental inversion.
Therefore, the use of such a shutter is not contemplated when it is not desired to dry the application element or even when it is desired to dry it in a manner
R? F .: 29102 particular and that it is impossible to obtain a drying such if the application element must pass through the aforementioned obturator.
The object of the invention is to prevent the product from spilling out of the container in case of accidental inversion of the latter, without thereby affecting the manner in which the product is extracted by the applicator.
The invention achieves this thanks to a new container, of the type that carries an applicator and a receptacle-shaped body, apt to contain a fluid product, provided with an opening in the upper part, this container which is characterized by the fact that it contains less an anti-leak piece placed on the outside of said body, this piece, which is able to maintain the opening of the body of the container above the level of the liquid in the body of the container when the container rests on the flat surface.
In a particular embodiment, the anti-leakage part has at least one convex outer face and an inner face shaped to adapt to the relief of one face of the container body.
In a particular embodiment, the anti-leakage piece is in the form of a stirrup and is pierced at the top by a perforation that allows it to be introduced on the neck of the container.
In another particular embodiment, the anti-leak piece has an annular shape and is shaped to be inserted around the container.
In a particular embodiment, the anti-leakage part has a profile in the axial section selected so that it can roll on a flat surface and in such a way that the reaction forces on this surface are placed, in relation to a vertical plane passing through the center of gravity of the container, on the side of the container opening, so as to create a joint tending to return the container to an equilibrium position in which the opening is located above the level of the liquid.
In a particular embodiment, the anti-leakage part completely surrounds the side wall of the container body, with the exception of the vicinity of said opening.
Always in a particular embodiment, the anti-leakage part contains two parts to be assembled around the body of the container.
These two parts can be related by a hinge on the bottom side of the container body.
The anti-leakage piece can form, once the two parts together a box around the body of the container, protecting it from shocks preventing the product contained inside from spilling in case of accidental inversion or when the container rests on a flat surface.
Advantageously, the anti-leakage part is fixed on the container body with no possibility of rotation on the latter, which allows not to hinder the screwing or unscrewing of the applicator when the container contains a threaded neck.
The container provided with the anti-leakage part according to the invention may contain a nail varnish or other cosmetic product and have a low capacity, less than or equal to
100 ml, preferably even less than or equal to 25 ml, preferably even less than or equal to 10 ml.
Another object of the invention is a container containing nail varnish, this container having a receptacle-shaped body of small capacity, this body being provided with an opening at the top, bordered by a threaded neck, the container containing furthermore, an applicator provided at one end of a closing cap to be threaded onto said neck and at the other end of an application element, this container which is characterized in that it contains at least one anti-leakage piece adapted on the outside of the aforementioned body, this part being able to maintain the opening of the body of the container above the level of the liquid in the body of the container when the latter rests on a flat surface, this part which is also fixed on the body of the container no possibility of relative rotation and that at least partially leaves the body of the container, which is elaborated in a transparent material, so as to allow the user to observe the level of liquid in the container.
The invention also has as an object an anti-leakage piece that constitutes an accessory marketed independently of a bottle, intended to be fixed on this bottle, which contains an applicator, this anti-leakage piece that is placed on the bottle to prevent a leak of product when the bottle rests on a flat surface at least by its bottom and by the said anti-leakage piece, particularly in case of accidental inversion of the bottle, this anti-leakage piece that contains means to allow its fixation by the user himself, on the bottle.
The user can easily provide an existing bottle of one or several anti-leakage pieces according to the invention.
The manufacture and marketing of an anti-leakage piece according to the invention, independently of the bottle it has intended for equipping, has numerous advantages, particularly:
the anti-leak piece does not change the appearance of the bottle when the latter is presented for sale,
- any information carried on the bottle is not masked, and
- the bottle can be processed without extra cost, so that the use of such an anti-leakage piece is economically advantageous.
The anti-leakage part is advantageously made of a material and / or with a shape that allows amortizing the shocks and protecting the bottle.
The anti-leakage part can in particular be made of an elastomer or a honeycomb material shaped for compression or not.
Another subject of the invention is a support for a container such as the one mentioned above, characterized in that it contains a support wall crossed by an opening in which the container body is inserted, the dimensions of this opening being selected from such that the antifouling piece can rest on said support wall.
Other characteristics and advantages of the present invention will depend on the reading of the detailed description that will follow, of non-limiting examples of the invention, and of the examination of the attached drawing on which:
- Figures 1 to 3 represent a container equipped with an anti-leakage piece according to a first mode of application of the invention, - Figure 4 represents an anti-leakage piece according to a second application example of the invention and figure 5 represents a bottle equipped on each side of an anti-leak piece such.
- Figures 6 to 8 represent a third example of application of the invention.

An anti-leakage part 1 according to a first application example of the invention is shown on FIG.
This piece 1 is presented in the form of a stirrup containing two lateral parts 2, 3 joined by an upper part 4, which is pierced by a perforation 5 intended for the passage of the neck 6 of a bottle 7, as illustrated on the figure 2
This bottle 7 has a flattened general shape and is made in plastic or glass matrial.
Preferably, the bottle 7 contains a viscous product that does not generate splashes in case of accidental spillage.
The faces in front of the side parts 2 and 3 are shaped to adapt the relief of the opposite main faces 8 and 9 of the bottle 7.
The fixing of the anti-leakage part 1 on the bottle 7 can be effected, for example, with glue or by varying the anti-leakage part 1 it can be held very simply by friction.
The neck 6 is threaded to allow the screwing of a closure cap, not shown, which also serves as a fixing member for an applicator such as a brush, for example, which comes to be housed inside the bottle 7 when it is closed.
The bottle 7 has a flat bottom 10, which allows it to stand with its vertical axis, when it is placed on a flat surface S.
The anti-leakage part 1 makes it possible to avoid, if the bottle 7 is accidentally inverted, that the liquid contained inside does not spill through the neck opening 6.
For this purpose, the lateral parts 2 and 3 of the anti-leakage part 1 are shaped so as to rest on the flat surface S and keep the axis of the bottle 7 sufficiently tilted upwards so that the level of the liquid inside the bottle 7 remain on the edge side of opening 11, same when it is full.
The shape of the anti-leak piece 1 is easily determined by the technician in the material according to the geometry of the bottle 7, and the amount of liquid normally contained in the latter.
The anti-leakage part 1 can be made in all appropriate material.
It can be carried out in particular in an elastically deformable material and / or in a cellular material.
In the case where an alveolar material is used, it can be compressed by places to give its shape to the anti-leakage piece.
The anti-leakage piece is advantageously made of a material and with a shape that allows the shock to be amortized and to avoid the breaking of the bottle 7 in the event of a fall, particularly when the latter is in glass.
The antifouling piece 1 can also be made in a material selected for aesthetic effect that confers to the bottle 7.
The anti-leakage part 1 is preferably proposed to the user as an accessory independently of the bottle 7, which is responsible for placing it on the bottle 7 to form a container according to the invention.
By varying, the bottle 7 can be proposed to the user already provided with the anti-leakage piece 1.
In the example of FIGS. 1 to 3, the bottle 7 has a flattened shape and can not, according to all probability, be on the flat part in case of accidental inversion. It is not necessary for the anti-leak part 1 to cover the part of the bottle 7.
The anti-leakage part 1 can facilitate handling of the bottle 7, for example between two fingers of the user, preventing the bottle from slipping between the fingers of the user.
In particular, the anti-leakage part does not bother the screwing or unscrewing of the applicator.
An anti-leakage part 14 is shown on FIG. 4, which has a substantially hemispherical outer face and a substantially flat inner face, which is provided with a protected adhesive film before being placed on the bottle 7 by an immovable protection sheet. .
The number and places where the anti-leak parts 14 are fixed depend on the geometry of the bottle.
In the example described here, the user locates two anti-leakage pieces 14 on the faces 8 and 9 of the bottle 7, in proximity of the neck 6, so as to obtain the same result as in the previous example of embodiment, namely the maintaining the edge of the opening 11 above the level of the liquid when the container is accidentally inverted on the flat surface S.
A container 20 according to a third embodiment of the invention has been represented on FIGS. 6 to 8.
This container 20 contains a body 21 provided at one end of a threaded neck 22 and at the other end of a bottom 23, convex to the outside.
An anti-leak piece 24 is placed on the body 21 at the base of the neck 22.
The anti-leak piece 24 is for example stuck to the body 21 of the container.
A closure cap 25 is threaded onto the neck 22 to seal it.
This closing cap 25 also serves as a fixing member for an applicator containing a rod 26 fixed at one end to the cap 25 and provided at the other end with an applicator member such as a brush 27.
The body 21 may contain one or several beads 28 which allow the product to be homogenized before its application, for example on the nails.
The anti-leak piece 24 is in the form of a crown that overflows radially outwards and whose surface is generally convex.
Bottom 23 does not allow container 20 to stand upright.
When the container 20 is placed on a flat surface S, it rests with its axis oriented upwards thanks to the anti-leakage part 24. The axis of the container 20 is then sufficiently inclined in relation to the horizontal so that the level of the liquid content inside the body 21 is located behind the edge of the neck opening 22.
The cap 25 has a truncated top, which allows the container 20 to stand upright, as shown on FIG. 7.
The container 20 is advantageously presented for sale in a presentation 30 containing a support wall 31 provided with openings 32 which each allow to introduce the body 21 of a container 20, as shown in figure 9.
The wall of the support 31 rests on the feet 33 whose length is greater than the height of the body 21.
The diameter of each opening 32 is smaller than the outer diameter of the anti-leakage part 24, so that the container 20 rests thereon on the wall of the support 31.
A presentation 40 can also be used, which can not contain more than a single container 20, which contains a substantially hemispherical shell 40, traversed at its top by an opening 41 that allows introducing the body 21 of the container 20, as shown on the figure 10
The container 20 comes in support of the anti-leakage part 24 on the presentation 40.
A container 50 according to a new embodiment of the invention has been represented on FIG. 11.
This container contains a bottle 51, generally cylindrical in revolution, provided with a flat bottom, which is surrounded by an annular gasket 52, and provided at the other end with a threaded neck 53.
The anti-leakage part 54 is presented in the form of a threaded crown on the cylindrical body of the bottle 51, and placed in the vicinity of the neck 53, so as to maintain the level of the liquid below the edge of the opening of the neck 53. .
In the example of figure 11, the anti-leakage piece 54 is fixed on the body of the bottle 51 by adhesion for example.
By varying, as illustrated on figure 12, it is possible to provide on the body of the bottle reliefs 55 and 56 between which the anti-leakage part 54 can be housed, the latter being placed on the bottle by elastic deformation. The bottle can contain a series of reliefs that allow the user to place the anti-leakage piece more or less near the opening of the bottle, depending on the level of filling for example.
The anti-leakage part 54 is sufficiently tight on the body of the bottle to prevent relative rotation and thus allows the user to unscrew the applicator having only the part.
In the embodiment example of figure 13, the anti-leakage part 60 completely surrounds the bottle 61, being adhered on the latter for example.
This anti-leakage part 60 has a lower outer surface 62 convex towards the outside, substantially hemispherical, shaped to be able to roll on a flat surface. S.
The reaction forces F exerted by the surface S on the anti-leakage part 60 are placed in relation to the center of gravity G of the container so that a joint is exerted on it, tending to take it to a position in which its axis is inclined sufficiently high so that the level of liquid in the bottle 61 remains below the edge of its neck 63.
More precisely, the reaction forces F are located in relation to the vertical plane containing the center of gravity G, on the same side as the neck 63.
When in a general manner the anti-leakage part covers the whole of the bottle or its greater part, it is advantageous to carry out the anti-leakage piece in a transparent material or to provide an uncovered part that allows the user to see the level of the liquid in the bottle This also allows the user to more easily take the product when the bottle is almost empty.
A container 70 according to another embodiment of the invention is shown on FIGS. 14 and 15.
This container 70 contains a bottle 71 whose body is cylindrical of revolution, provided at one end of a flat bottom 72 and at the other end of a threaded neck 73.
The anti-leakage part 74 has an annular shape and an outer surface which is convex towards the outside.
Its inner surface is cylindrical of revolution to conform to the shape of the bottle 71.
The anti-leakage part 74 is for example retained by friction on the bottle 71, with a sufficient tightening to allow the user to screw on the bottle or unscrew without problems the applicator that has only the anti-leakage piece.
In axial section, the outer surface of the anti-leakage part 74 is threaded in such a way that the reaction forces F are positioned in relation to the center of gravity of the container so as to create a connection tending to bring the latter to an equilibrium position. shown on FIG. 14, in which the axis of the container is sufficiently inclined above the level so that the level of the liquid inside the bottle 71 is lower than the edge of the neck 73.
When the container is inverted, the weight P exerts a connection tending to bring it towards the equilibrium position already mentioned, as illustrated in FIG. 15.
An anti-chip part 80 according to an eighth exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown on FIG.
This anti-leak piece 80 contains two parts 81, 82 to be assembled around the bottle, for example the bottle 7 described above.
These parts 81 and 82 are connected at one end by a hinge 83 each containing, on the side opposite the hinge 83, a rein 84, 85.
These reins 84 and 85 are intended to form a collar around the neck 6 of the bottle 7 when the parts
81 and 82 are combined against each other, as illustrated in Figure 17.
The reins 84 and 85 are related to the hinge 83 by a set of bars referenced 86 for part 81 and 87 for part 82.
When the parts 81 and 82 are enclosed around the bottle 7, the bars 86 and 87 of the anti-leakage part 80 constitute a protective case of the bottle 7 of the crashes and keeping the opening of the neck 6 above the level of the liquid in the bottle 7, for a given fill level.
The anti-leakage part 80 can be made of metal or plastic.
It can be foreseen at the level of the reins 84 and 85 to make a veil or a packing in elastomeric material that allows adapting to different neck diameters.
The bars 86 and 87 are angled so as to maintain the axis of the bottle 7 sufficiently tilted upwards to prevent the liquid from escaping through the neck 6 when the anti-leak piece 80 rests on a flat surface.
Parts 81 and 82 can be combined by the average, for example by providing them in the vicinity of reins 84 and 85 of complementary means not represented.
However, the invention is not limited to the embodiments that have been described.
The container may or may not contain a drying organ for drying the applicator.
Thanks to the use of an anti-leakage part according to the invention, a container containing nail varnish for example can be used without fear of traveling, being seated on a relatively unstable surface, such as a seating plateau.
It is noted that in relation to this date the best method known by the applicant to carry out the said invention in which it is clear from the present description of the invention.
Having been described as above, it is claimed as property in the following,
