Description

CLEANERS AND CASE FOR THEMSELVES "FIELD OF THE INVENTION This invention is related to cleansers or cleaning sticks and cases or holders.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The cleansers are generally provided as individual products or articles or in containers containing a plurality of separate cleansers. They can be made of wood or synthetic plastic. It is not practical for an individual to carry individual cleansers in their pockets, purses, handbags, etc. Cleaners are easily lost, they break quickly and are not very hygienic. In addition, containers for containing a plurality of toothpicks are not generally designed for personal use, but rather to offer cleansers for use in public places such as restaurants. It is important that the cleansers and especially the end or ends of the toothpick or cleanser are protected from damage. Further, where a plurality of toothpicks are provided in a container or carrier it is important that each toothpick be retained and securely protected in the container or carrier until required. Thus, it is an object of the present invention to provide cleansers in a cleanser carrier which provides a convenient personal package and which protects cleansers from damage and / or which reduces or overcomes. REF: 27242 some of the problems mentioned above or at least that which provides the public with a useful alternative. Other objects of the invention will become apparent from the following description which is given by way of example only.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION According to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a toothbrush holder comprising a peripheral case defining a space in which a plurality of cleansers are confined, each toothpick comprises a handle and a sheet and formed integrally with, but detachable from, the peripheral case at one end of the handle remote from the sheet and the peripheral case provides protection for the wipers from the forces applied in at least two orthogonal directions. In a preferred form of the invention, the adjacent cleansers may be disposed oppositely in the peripheral case, the handle ends of the adjacent cleansers attached to opposite sides of the case. In a further preferred form of the tooth holder of the present invention, the The peripheral case may have a base plate adapted to join the wiper carrier in a book-like folder. In a further preferred form, the stick carrier may further comprise at least retaining means for retaining a used toothpick. Preferably, the retaining means may comprise receiving means on the peripheral case, the receiving means are adapted to receive the handle end of a toothpick and retain the toothpick securely in the peripheral case. Preferably, the handle of each toothpick can have a polygonal, more preferably square, cross section. In a preferred form of the invention, the blade of each toothpick can have a tpangular cross section, with an upper edge and angular sides forming a sharp lower edge, the upper edge forming a tip at one end, opposite the end of the tooth. handle and the sharp bottom edge curves to meet the tip of the top edge to form the end of the toothpick. Preferably, the angle between the sides of the blade at the sharpened lower edge may be substantially between 25 degrees and 30 degrees and more preferably substantially 27 degrees. In a preferred form of the invention, the toothpick holder can be made of plastic material and preferably manufactured as a single piece by injection molding. Other aspects of the present invention will become apparent from the following description which is given by way of example only and with reference to the accompanying drawings.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Figure 1 shows a plan view of a stick carrier of the present invention in one embodiment. Figure 2 shows views of each end of the stick carrier of Figure 1.
Figure 3A shows a side view and Figure B a plan view of a toothpick embodiment of a toothpick holder of the present invention. Figure 4 shows a front end view of the toothpick of Figure 3. Figure 5 shows a plan view of a toothpick holder of the present invention in an alternative embodiment. Figure 6 shows a stick carrier of the present invention in a book-like folder.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION A stick or cleanser carrier 1 of the present invention, in a preferred embodiment, as shown in Figure 1, may comprise support means 2, a base plate 3 and a plurality of toothpicks or cleansers. . In the embodiment shown in figures 1 to 3 the support means 2 comprise a case or box, substantially square or rectangular in shape. In this embodiment, the support means 2 completely surrounds the plurality of toothpicks or cleansers 4 in a plane. Thus, the applied pressure transverse to that plane, in the form of an unintentional force, would not cause the individual sticks or cleansers to bend and dislodge from the support means 2. The intentional force applied in the case to a single stick however, would be able to separate a toothpick or cleanser for use. In addition, the wipers 4 and especially the ends 5 or tips of the stick are protected from damage by the forces applied parallel to the plane of the support means 2, that is, the plurality of wipers 4 are located within the plane of the means of support and protected by its sides 6a, b, c, d. Each cleaner 4 has a handle 7 and a sheet 8. With reference to Figures 3 and 4, it can be seen that, in a preferred embodiment, the handle 7 has a cross section of four sides. Alternatively, the handle may have a circular cross section or another polygonal cross section. The sheet 8 has a substantially triangular cross section, with a flat upper edge 9 and sides 10 which form a lower knife edge 11. The upper edge 9 forms a point 12 opposite the end of the handle. The lower knife edge 11 has a curved profile which from a vertex 11a is bent to join the upper edge 9 at its tip 12 to form the end 5 of the cleaning toothbrush 4. The angle at which the sides 10 form the edge 11 of lower blade is preferably in the range of 25 degrees -30 degrees and in the embodiment of the invention shown in the figures, is substantially 27 degrees. Each cleanser or toothpick 4 can be attached to the support means 2 at the end 13 of its handle by a connecting element 14 or vn-Lr-h this connecting element 14 or a narrowed or weakened portion 15, which it allows the toothpick 4 to be separated from the support means 2 by bending the toothpick 4 out of the plane of the support means. In the embodiment shown in Figure 1, the adjacent cleansers are arranged opposite and therefore attached to the support means 2 on the opposite sides 6b, 6d. It will be appreciated that other configurations of cleansers or toothpicks within the support means 2 are envisioned and included within the scope of this invention. For example, all cleansers or toothpicks can point in the same direction, with the handles all attached on the same side of the support means, as shown in Figure 5. It will also be appreciated that a square or rectangular shape of the means 2 of support is only an example of the form of the support means 2 contemplated. Other forms are contemplated although they are less practical. further, in the embodiment shown in figure 5, for example, in which the chopsticks or cleansers 4 are all attached to the same side 6d of the support means 2, the support means 2 can have only 3 sides, comprising one side 6d of the base and two lateral sides 6a, b. With such a configuration, the support means 2 will still provide protection against the applied forces transverse to the plane of the support means, although less efficiently, also as to the forces applied parallel to the plane of the support means, except on the open side. With reference to Figure 1, the support means 2 can also include a receptacle 17 for used toothpicks or cleansers. This receptacle 17 may comprise a slot 18, in a preformed portion 19 of the support means 2. This groove or slot 18 may have a cross section corresponding to that of the end 13 of the handle 7 of a toothpick or cleanser 4 and is accordingly adapted to receive the end 13 of the handle and hold it securely. Thus, once a cleanser or toothpick 4 has been separated from the support means 2 for use, it can be returned to the support means for reuse. There may be a plurality of toothpicks receptacles 17 used on the support means 2. However, it will be appreciated that in most cases a single receptacle will be sufficient, since the product is intended to be a personalized stick carrier and it is contemplated that a single stick would be used at a time. The stick carrier 1 of the present invention can be made of plastic material and the preferred form of manufacture is by injection molding. However, it will be appreciated that the toothpick holders and chopsticks or cleansers of the invention can be made of any substantially rigid material. The base plate 3 can be provided on a stick carrier 1 of the present invention, to allow the carrier 1 to be incorporated into a book-like folder or match or matches. With reference to Figures 1 and 5, the base plate 3 can be integrally formed with and extended from the support means 2 and can include holes for stapling in a book-like folder of matches or matches or matches, as shown in FIG. Figure 6. In this configuration, advertising or propaganda material can be applied to folder 20 if required. Alternatively, it is contemplated that the advertising material may be applied directly to the base plate 3. It is also contemplated that the stick carriers 1 of the present invention can be packaged in bag-type packages, such packaging again providing a source of advertising or propaganda space. Where reference has been made, in the above description, to specific components or members of the invention having known equivalents, then such equivalents are incorporated herein as if they were individually presented. Although the invention has been described by way of example and with particular reference to the preferred embodiments shown in the accompanying drawings, it should be appreciated that variations and modifications may be made thereto, without departing from the scope of the invention as defined in following claims. It is noted that, in relation to this date, the best method known by the applicant to carry out the aforementioned invention is the conventional one for the manufacture of the objects to which it relates. Having described the invention as above, property is claimed as contained in the following
