Description

"NEUROMUSCULAR ENERGY ECONOMIZING WORK POSITION FOR THE USE OF COMPUTER APPLIANCES." SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION This invention relates to the improvement of the supporting devices of the elements of computing devices and coherent seats, providing an ergonomic optimization of the work port. The object of this invention is to provide a workstation layout totally different from the conformation of existing devices in the market, thanks to a novel spatial architecture of the supports of the computing equipment, accessories and the position of the operator, by means of of very simple structural elements, whose characteristics focus on: relaxing the body, favoring mental concentration and avoiding unnecessary wasting of neuromuscular and cardiovascular energy.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Nowadays, conventional computer jobs are based on the classic use of the sitting position, the bust in a straight position and the feet at ground level. There are accessories for ergonomic purposes such as: keyboard ushers based on scissors support, screen posture devices in relation to the plane of the table, chairs more adapted to the human morphology, also ergonomic keyboards of curved shape. These various devices are complex manufacturing, high costs and do not provide a consistent possibility of suppression the causal factors of physiological disorders caused by the intensive use of computer systems. The most common physiological disorders are: Radial tunnel syndrome consisting of chronic inflammation of the radial nerve of the ante arms, inflammation of the muscles in the area of the backs and nerves of the cervical vertebrae, variculosis and phlebitis. Among the causal factors of the aforementioned drawbacks are on the one hand: a) The effects of gravity on the human body. b) The usual way of the keyboard in sitting position, the upper part of the vertical body, position that does not allow the central nervous system to rest. c) The efforts of the heart that to maintain a given pressure is proportional to the difference in severity between the levels of the extremities. d) Phenomena of feedback between psychosomatic states and the effects of gravity affect the flow of return circulation of the lower limbs in particular. On the other hand, psychosomatic effects must be considered. All creative activity is associated with the fear of error. Psychological distress unconsciously produces aborted nerve impulses of attack or leakage movements from the archaic part of the brain, generating adverse symptoms, among others, in the musculature, heart rate and circulation. The traditional work posture intensifies these symptoms. Only a position that allows the complete rest of the body limits these adverse phenomena. Also the creative activity requires to intensify the mental concentration, the stabilizing activity of the autonomic nerve system interferes with the optimization of said concentration. The conception and realization of the jobs present in the market are not congruent to the contribution of an integrated response to the causal factors of the described disadvantages. In order to alleviate and / or eliminate these and other drawbacks, the present spatial support device was developed for the computer equipment and various accessories associated with the activity that allows the use of an optimized seat, which is intended to be protected by means of the present application, because it is a device of extreme structural simplicity and low cost that allows in particular the use of computer equipment in an optimal position according to the results of scientific studies in the field of sophrology that have shown that the body in a "V" position in full support and the legs raised to the level of the heart allowed maximum mental concentration, consequence of the relaxation of the neuromuscular and circulatory system. Also studies in the aerospace field showed that this position restricts the inconvenient effects of gravity on the human body. The device of the support and seat assembly allows a new way of using the keyboards, the arms in full support, without causing contradiction in the natural position of the hands, generates a minimum fatigue of these, so the possibility of simultaneous use of two screens and carries documents in an excellent position within the visual field the head in support. The height of the seat allows the user to sit comfortably without the seat being equipped with complex mechanisms as they are in general these types of seats..
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The characteristic details of this novel workplace device are clearly shown in the following description and in the accompanying drawings, as well as an illustration thereof and following the same reference signs to indicate the parts and figures shown. The drawings are single illustrative of the functional arrangement of the elements to obtain a defined and non-limiting result in the field of possible manufacturing alternatives of the elements illustrated. Figure 1 is a conventional perspective of the support and seat assembly, the support with several basic accessories of the device and the high level seat Figure 2 is a conventional perspective of the support and its branching. Figure 3 is a conventional perspective of the support equipped with two screen holders, document holder and keyboard holder.
Figure 4 is a side view of reference to the support positions of the body in relation to two types of seats and the location of the dotted holder, nicknamed "Mouse". Figure 5 is a left side plane view of the support and low level seat assembly with rotary table. Figure 6 is a vertical projection view of the support and seat assembly with rotating table. With reference to said figures, the assembly of the high-level support device in Figure 1 is seen. The support in the form of a tree, which is composed of a vertical central axis with a tubular profile (The mention of tubular profiles is generic, Tube can be cylindrical, square, be metallic or made of high resistance composite plastic material, it is also understood that the joining pieces will be for illustrative purposes show tubular sleeves, could be castings of metal alloy or molded in high strength plastic The connecting pieces involve a screw or any equivalent means to generate a friction between the joining parts in order to prevent or allow the movements of the parts.
The central axis of the support is composed of several concentric tubular profiles (No.1, 2.3 and 4) that take support in the ground by means of at least four tubular profiles (Nos.12) arranged orthogonally between each other. and the axis. Said profiles can be removable to occupy less space in the transport. The base of the support is equipped with wheels (No.13) that participate in the location of the support. The dimension of the profiles (Nos.12) must form a polygon in which the centers of gravity of the masses of the elements are inscribed branching from the main axis, in such a way that the supported elements can rotate 360 degrees without unbalancing said support. At the end of the shaft (No.3) at its point of junction with the shaft (No.4) the union (No.5) is supported, which supports at right angle the support shaft (No.29) of the screen holder (No.10). Concentric to the screen holder shaft, between the central axis and the platform is the union (No.9) in which the pivot tube of the keyboard support (No. 34) slides, said pivot can rotate, to lift the keyboard holder by above the knees of the operator when proceeding the joint rotation of the screen holder and the keyboard holder to give free access to the seat. This provision specifically allows the use of the seat (No. 20,21, 22), this seat has the particularity of forming an angle of at least 120 Degrees, angle that can vary within a limit of plus or minus 10% between the seat ( No.21) and the backup (No.20). The leg rest (No.22) is positioned in a margin of plus or minus 15 degree of the horizontal plane to optimize circulation in the extremities. The angle of inclination of the seat and the width of the backrest (No.20) that must exceed at least 10 cm the width of the back of the user, allows the complete rest of the arms between the back and the elbow. Position that allows to passively and naturally have the arms at the level of the wrists in support on the armpits. This position makes the extremities of the outstretched hands coincide in straight extension of the arms according to an angle of 45% in aplomb of the pubis. A person of medium height is in the possibility to use the alphabetic keys of a 101-key keyboard without almost moving the wrists and less the arms that are in a complete position neuromuscular relaxation.
The keyboard holder (No.7) can rotate in relation to the longitudinal axis and the keyboard can slide laterally from both sides of its center by means of the slide (No.8) to which the keyboard is fixed. The base of the seat is made up of two tubular elements in the shape of "T" (No.71, 71) forming a close angle of 45 degrees, the bars of the "T" are supported to the ground by means of roulettes (No.13) , in the tube (No.70) slides a tube (No.19) integral with the transverse joint (No.15) that supports the transverse axis of the seat, the joint (No.15) with the tube (No.19) allow to vary the height and the inclination of the seat, the piece (No.16) has function to block the inclination position. The elbows (No.18) and (No.43 of Fig.4) are supported on both sides by a tubular profile (No.30) that allows the position of the elbow supports to be moved according to the morphology of the elbows. user. The headrest (No.23) can be replaced by the headrest (No.55 of Fig. 5) Figure 2 shows in more detail the elements of the support, particularly the connection (No.9) of the portal screen with the axis of the keypad (No.34) that can rotate in the vertical plan and the sector (No.31) destined to maintain the inclination of the axis (No.34) in a position determined by the user, in such a way , that after lifting the keyboard holder, it can return to its place of use, the sector can be realized in various ways, such as a perforated sheet or presenting a toothed crown, etc. The platform (No.26) is located at the upper extremity of the element (No.4) of the central axis of the support and can rotate 360 degrees above the screen, its function is to be able to reach the user in a relaxed position, the objects useful to its activity. The table (No.28) is joined to the central axis by the union (No.27) and can rotate. The position of the axis of rotation of this month depends on the type of seat used. In Figure 1. the table is equipped with a support with roulette (No.29) in order to free access to the fixed plane (No.33) where the processor and several peripherals can be located. Figure 3 illustrates the device equipped with two screen holders (No.10) and (No.57) and a document or book holder (No.52). The screen holder (No.57) is attached to the central axis by means of the union (No.50), said screen holder can rotate in the plan perpendicular to the central axis and slide sideways to optimize its position in relation to the user. Figure 4 illustrates in particular the support of the spike, nicknamed "Mouse" (No.17) and the elbow support (No.43) which is composed of a tubular profile (No.43) integral with the transverse axis (No.72) by means of a union (No.41) that allows to rotate the support of more than 90 degrees in order to move it away from the side of the seat, this arrangement allows the articulation of the elbows (No.41) to rest on the backrest, the wrist to take laterally support on the armpits or the belly to use the keyboard (No.8) or extend, the elbow in support on the elbow rest to use the "mouse" (No.17).
The position of the feet of the user (No.44) at rest on the leg rest (No.22) of figure 1 and the position of the feet resting on the foot rest (No.57) of figure 3 are illustrated. FIGURE 5 illustrates in profile a support in conjunction with a low seat that is characterized by a construction of extreme simplicity, the base is composed of a tube (No.49) attached to each of its ends of the tubes (No.48) ) perpendicular and joined to the tube (No.49) in their centers by means of welding or screws to be removable. The support in the vertical plan of the seat consists of a tube (No.54) screwed to the base (No.49) to vary the inclination of this. The support tube (No.45) is attached to the tube (No.52) by means of a sliding connection (No.51) that allows the height to be varied. Two boards joined to the tubes (No. 52 and 45) form the support of the elastic lining of the seat. The headrest (No.55) is attached to the center with the tube (No.54), and can rotate with respect to said tube, which in turn is integral with the tube (No.52) by means of a sliding connection piece (No.53) that allows the tube (No.54) to be moved along its longitudinal axis and rotated in such a way. In this way, the position of the headrest can be adapted according to the morphology of the user. The table (No.28) is attached to the central axis of the support by a joint (No.27) located in the lateral center of one side of the table, so that it can rotate more than 90 degrees to be located in front of the user in a sitting position to serve as a desk without impeding the use of the computer, as shown in vertical projection in figure 6. The cut-out on the side of the table (No.44) allows it to rotate, the user in a sitting position. The foot rest is fixed by means of the union (No.57) to the axis (No.56). The shaft (No.56) is fixed to the central frame (No.49) by means of a sliding and rotating connection (No.46) in such a way that the positions of the footrest can be modified in height and inclination. This set does not allow the feet to be placed at the level of the heart, it does not offer an improved working position and more compatible with the traditional bureaucratic environment. In this way a disposition of the workstations with the following characteristics is obtained: a) Allow the user to work in a position that corresponds to the optimization parameters determined by the studies carried out in the scientific field of psychosomatic relaxation that it is also found to be the deter-determined position in the aerospace field to minimize the negative effects of acceleration on the human body. This position is characterized by the position of the bust and ts in "V" to approximately 120 degrees, the legs at the level of the heart and cervical and the skull in support. The advantages associated with this position are: minimize the effects of gravity, and consequently relax the activity of the autonomic nervous system dedicated to stabilize the body in an upright position and also save the pumping activity of the heart and at the same time promote circulation avoiding possible circulatory inconveniences consequent to extensive periods in sitting position. On the other hand, this position facilitates mental concentration without inducing drowsiness associated with the lying position. b) The device of the support allows an infinite variation of the relative position of its elements in relation to the particularities of each user (height, field and acuity of vision, etc.). In particular, the keyboard support allows a transversal movement of this, so that the area of use of the keyboards of 101 and more keys, can coincide with the natural angle formed by the hands and forearms, the elbows in support on the backrest of the seat when it is about 120 degrees of inclination, and the wrists resting on the armpits or belly. c) The arborescent architecture of the support allows, with a minimum of elements and a minimum occupation of the space, to adapt the spatial positions of the computing elements as well as various tools available to the user in a reclined or lying position. d) The support is adaptable to be used in lying, sitting and standing position. e) The support allows the use of two screens simultaneously and a document holder in the same visual field of the user.
