Abstract
Una composicion de temple superficial comprende cuando menos 60% en peso de granulos de metal duro incluyendo una cantidad de pastillas de carburo sinterizado y una cantidad de pastillas de carburo fundido. Los carburos fundido o moldeado y sinterizado se seleccionan a partir del grupo de carburos que consiste de carburos de cromio, molibdeno, niobio, tantalio, titanio, tungsteno y vanadio y aleaciones y mezclas de los mismos. El resto de al composicion de temple superficial es metal de matriz con vestigios de fundente o desoxidante y elementos de formacion de aleacion. Todos los porcentajes proporcionados son relaciones previas a la aplicacion.
