Abstract
Un metodo y sistema para la aplicacion de tamices moleculares para la remocion de dioxido de carbono y monoxido de carbono de un paciente que expira gases durante anestesia. El sistema es especialmente util en la anestesia que utiliza cualquiera de los agente anestesicos de inhalacion de eter halogenado. Los gases expirados se secan utilizando un desecante no reactivo para remover agua, pasan a traves de un filtro capaz de remover particulas mayores que 0.3 micras, pasan a traves de un lecho que contiene tamices moleculares tanto naturales como sinteticos capaces de remover el dioxido de carbono y monoxido de carbono y despues regresar al circuito de respiracion para recirculacion hacia el paciente.
