Abstract

Se describe un transmisor de television digital (DTV) y un metodo para codificar datos en el metodo del transmisor DTV. Un pre-procesador pre-procesa los datos mejorados codificando los datos mejorados por correccion directa de errores (FEC) y expandiendo los datos mejorados con codificacion FEC. Un formateador de datos genera uno o mas grupos de paquetes de datos mejorado, cada paquete de datos mejorados que incluye los datos mejorados pre-procesados. Y, un multiplexor de paquetes genera la menos una rafaga de datos mejorados multiplexando el uno o mas grupos de paquetes de datos mejorados. Aqui, cada rafaga de datos mejorados incluye al menos un grupo de paquetes de datos mejorados. El transmisor DTV puede incluir ademas un control secuencial el cual genera la primera y segunda senales de control para controlar las operaciones del formateador de datos y el multiplexor de paquetes, respectivamente.
