Abstract

La presente invencion describe un metodo para elaborar caprolactama a partir de 6-aminocapronitrilo que contiene mas de 500 ppm de tetrahidroazepina y sus derivados (THA) en el que el amoniaco y el agua se remueven de la caprolactama cruda en una sola etapa de separacion y despues la THA se remueve del fundido de la caprolactama resultante.
