Abstract

La invencion se relaciona con un metodo para verificar la autenticidad de una marca de franqueo generado utilizando una clave de franqueado y aplicada a una pieza de correo, por lo que la informacion criptografica contenida en la marca de franqueo es descifrada y utilizada para verificar la autenticidad de la marca de franqueo; de acuerdo con la invencion, el metodo se caracteriza porque la clave de datos (KD) se genera y transmite desde un sistema de aseguramiento de pago central a sistemas de aseguramiento de pago locales.
