Abstract
Se describe un metodo para el procesamiento de espectroscopia de fondo de pozo. El metodo incluye la obtencion de datos de espectroscopia brutos utilizando una herramienta de fondo de pozo; procesar los datos de espectroscopia brutos utilizando la herramienta de fondo de pozo para obtener una solucion procesada en fondo de pozo; transmitir la solucion procesada en fondo de pozo a un sistema de procesamiento de superficie; y utilizar el sistema de procesamiento de superficie para determinar la informacion de litologia de una solucion procesada en fondo de pozo. Una herramienta de fondo de pozo para procesar datos de espectroscopia brutos se describe tambien. La herramienta incluye: una fuente de neutrones; por lo menos un detector para detectar los datos de espectroscopia brutos; un medio de procesamiento para procesar los datos de espectroscopia brutos para producir una solucion procesada en fondo de pozo; y un dispositivo para transmitir la solucion procesada en fondo de pozo a una ubicacion en la superficie.
