Abstract

The invention relates to a system for making one-piece garments. The inventive system consists in: preparing an anatomical loom; producing a warp thereon using multiple, vertically-tautened yarns; and applying a weft thereto, said weft being produced with the manual application of yarns from the top to the bottom, from the bottom to the top or in a spiral from any point. The anatomical loom is produced using numerous sections which correspond exactly to the basic dimensions of the user, said dimensions being obtained from a body scan performed earlier. The invention is characterised in that the information-processing means, in particular a computer, is equipped with specific programs which enable the user to see his/her silhouette virtually clothed in any model contained in the computer database or in any other remote base which can be accessed via a network.

Description

SYSTEM FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF CLOTHING GARMENTS OF ONE PIECE, WITH THE USE OF AN ANATOMICAL TELAR MADE TO MEASURE " DESCRIPTION Object of the Invention The present invention relates to a system for the manufacture of garments in one piece, with the use of a custom-made anatomical loom, which provides essential characteristics of novelty and remarkable advantages with respect to the known means and used for the same purposes in the current state of the art.
More particularly, the invention proposes the development of a system by means of which it is possible to carry out the manufacture of personalized garments, unique and unrepeatable, adapted to the physiognomy and characteristics of each user, without the need for prior preparation of patterns, or of conventional operations of cutting or sewing, avoiding the generation of scraps and waste in general. The system foresees the formation of a loom whose dimensions and characteristics reproduce the basic measurements of the person in question, obtained by previous scanning of the latter, and the use of said loom for the formation of a warp by vertical tensioned threads, to which the plot is then applied with the use of horizontal threads, and in its case spiral. The system allows the preparation of garments of any kind.
The field of application of the invention is comprised within the industrial sector dedicated to the manufacture of garments, and in particular to the production of tailor-made custom garments.
BACKGROUND AND SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is generally known that in the current garment-making industry, it is required to resort to the construction of patterns, realization of cuts and tweezers to achieve that such garments adapt to the body. of the user. The scaling of the patterns allows that garments can be obtained according to the different sizes. The material used in garments of this type, consists of fabrics or fabrics that are cut and taken to workshops for the sewing and finishing process.
The realization of these garments requires the collaboration and use of appropriate machines for cutting and sewing operations, as well as specialized labor for the preparation of the garment, among other requirements.
On the other hand, we must also take into account the fact that the fabric is a flat material, obtained in mechanical looms with which all kinds of fabrics are manufactured. Some of these fabrics are manufactured in circular looms, which facilitates the making of T-shirts and other similar garments.
As it is known, the most basic loom consists of two supports by means of which the operations of tensioning the warp and forming the weft are carried out. The result is, therefore, obtaining flat tissues.
Within the clothing market, there is also the sector of "haute couture", in which the user is offered a tailor made garment, perfectly adapted to the physical characteristics of the wearer, but with the important disadvantage of its high price and of the time that its realization requires.
Another drawback of the current systems, is that, in the usual market (not haute couture), although the garments are classified by sizes that the user applies to their body measurements, not always such sizes are adapted to the taste and needs of the user.
In the current state of the art some methods are already known tending to provide solutions with which it is possible to produce a garment adapted to the needs and characteristics of the user, without having to resort to a market as specialized as that of haute couture, and in reasonably short periods of time. Thus, one can cite, for example, U.S. Pat. no. 4,885,844 in which a tailor made clothing system is described, and uses a video camera to take the user's measurements and transmit them to a computer for the generation of a virtual model of the user; then, the data is sent to the tailoring workshop where a mannequin is adjusted to the measurements received, usable for the final preparation of the garment.
For its part, U.S. Patent No. US 5,782,389 describes the use of a manikin of variable construction to obtain the different sizes and sizes, with the use of interchangeable sheets. The manikin can be easily modified without having to disassemble the complete structure.
Other existing documents describe procedures and systems of other types for the creation of dummies and supports that allow adjusting the confection to the measurements and body shapes of the user.
The present invention has proposed as a fundamental objective the realization of a system through which it is possible to make garments without the need for pattern-making operations, sewing or cutting, and without waste of fabric, obtaining garments in one piece, without cuts or clips, and perfectly adapted to the measurements of the body of each user.
For this, the invention proposes that, once the usual measurements of the carrier have been obtained with the use of any known technique, namely the heights and circumferences, and / or the vertical / horizontal and volumetric dimensions of the body, a loom is created with the shape of the body, by adapting to the sizes and corporal characteristics of that user of an already existing loom, said loom being susceptible of manipulation for the formation of the different garments and with the different widths, previously measured, of each person, adapting so to each particular body. Unlike usual practice, the raw material used in the system of the invention, is the yarn, or any filamentous material or flexible fiber. As a result, you get a tool that allows you to create any garment, with the use of a small amount of labor. Taking measurements of the body is done, either manually, or preferably, by a scanning operation, so that between the scanner and the anatomical loom referred to above, a database is placed, with a specific application program, whose mission is to send the data of the measurements to the loom, and thus be able to form files (and in its case, histories) of the people scanned, so that they can virtually observe their body on screens or other means of viewing, as well as the different collections of stored garments, accessing the corresponding databases through an Internet connection. or through any other appropriate network.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS These and other features and advantages of the invention will be more clearly apparent from the detailed description that follows of a preferred embodiment, given solely by way of illustrative and non-limiting example, with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: Figure 1 illustrates a diagram corresponding to an operational sequence for the production of a garment adjusted to the personal characteristics of a user; Figure 2 shows several views corresponding to an anatomical loom constructed in accordance with the teachings of the present invention, and Figure 3 is a representation of a multiplicity of loom sections, corresponding to the different positions that these sections must occupy, and depending on the particular garment to be manufactured.
DESCRIPTION OF A FORM OF CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION According to the foregoing, the detailed description of the preferred embodiment of the invention will be explained in relation to the attached drawings, through which are used the same numerical references to designate the same or similar parts. Thus, attending first to Figure 1, an operating scheme representing the sequence followed for the manufacture of a one-piece garment, customized, obtained in accordance with the principles of the invention. To this effect, the process begins with the taking of measurements of the user, for which a scanner device 1 is used for an exact determination of the dimensional and volumetric characteristics of the person in question, from where the carrier signals of the obtained data are sent , up to a processing device that, preferably, will consist of a computer 2 or similar, in which a specific program related to this application has previously been stored, and where the data received from the scanning device is stored, creating the files corresponding to each person. From the processing device 2, the data is transferred to the anatomical loom 3 device, which is programmed to produce the desired garment. In the loom 3, the first operation consists of the creation of a warp 4, based on stretched threads that extend vertically, and on which the weft 5 is applied, horizontally, for its interlacing with the warp, generally starting from the upper part down (or, where appropriate, from any other position, as appropriate), until the garment 6 is formed, at which time said ready-made garment can be removed from the anatomical loom, the latter remaining ready for the preparation of a new garment.
The representation indicated with reference 7, illustrates one of the basic characteristics of the invention. In fact, the programmed means allow the scanned person to be seen on the screen with the garment before being made. In this way, you can decide the definitive purchase of the one that best suits your preferences and conditions. However, this possibility should be understood only as an alternative to the invention, since other alternatives also fit into the invention, such as, for example, the fact that the garments are previously made, and then the one chosen is chosen. the user wants Figure 2 shows schematically the characteristic details of an anatomical loom 3 by means of views taken in elevation and plan. According to the representations, the loom 3 consists of a central column 8, of vertical positioning, with a lower base 9 of support, said column being adapted to allow the movement, along the same, of sections 10 corresponding perimetrally with the dimensions of the body in the different positions. Thus, you can see the representation of seven sections, corresponding to the making of a dress, and that, from top to bottom, are identified with the neck the first two, the shoulders, the chest, the waist, the hips, and the bass of the dress. The different sections 10 have on their periphery suitable means for securing the warp threads 4. Furthermore, in the plan representation it can be seen, in a superimposed manner, the contours of the different sections 10 as they correspond to one or another part of the body. As will be understood, said sections 10 are separated from each other by predetermined distances, and are positioned in height in exact correspondence with the parts of the user's body that they represent.
If now the content of Figure 3 of the drawings is observed, it can be seen that multiple sections 10 are represented with different shapes and contours, as they correspond to one or another part of the body, and also dependent on the type of garment that is desired to be made . These sections, which reproduce the exact shape of the body as mentioned above, correspond to neck 10.1, neck turned 10.2, shoulders 10.3 with reproduction of the closed perimeter that passes through the back and torso, chest 10.4 with rounded protruding parts, waist 10.5 and hips 10.6, while section 10.7 corresponds to the bottom of the dress. Section 10.10 allows forming the right sleeve, and section 10.9 the left sleeve, while the sections intended to allow the terminations of the right sleeve and the left sleeve have been referenced as 10.11 and 10.8, respectively.
As it has been said, the described sections allow carrying out the making of a dress. If it is desired to make a garment of another type, for example a pair of trousers, then only the sections related above will be used until the corresponding to hip 10.6, having provided a special section 10.13 for pulling the pants, the sections corresponding to the right thigh and the left thigh being determined by those referenced as 10.14 and 10.12, respectively, while the circumference corresponding to the right knees left are provided by sections 10.3 and 10.15, and the bottom of the trousers on the right and left sides, sections 10.18 and 10.17, respectively. As will be appreciated, all the sections that have to be coupled to the column 8 of the anatomical loom, have a through hole 11, intended to allow the coupling to, and the sliding by, said column, until reaching the corresponding position. each of them, where they will be retained with the use of any appropriate means.
From the above, it follows that the realization of a garment for a particular person, it is an easy and fast process. If, as an example of embodiment, it is intended to make a dress with long neck and sleeveless, sections 10.1, 10.2 of neck will be used twice, and sections 10.3 of shoulders, 10.4 of chest, 10.5 of waist, 10.6 of hips, and 10.7 of the bottom of the dress. Of course, the positions of coupling and fixing to the column 8, as well as the separation between respective sections, will be variable depending on the characteristics of each person.
Once the sections are in place, the warp threads will be placed on each of the sections, from top to bottom, by means of a manual process, and then a tensioning operation will be carried out on the different threads. vertical warp. Once this operation is carried out, the constituent threads of the weft are applied, braiding them with the warp, but in a substantially horizontal direction. With the manual process, the fabric is irregular and handcrafted, which gives the garment a more attractive appearance in terms of a unique and unrepeatable piece, given that it is practically impossible to reproduce the garment with identical shapes and irregularities manually. However, it will be understood that the application of a mechanical process will provide a uniform finish, and of course controlled.
As it has been said, the plot is woven from top to bottom or bottom to top, or with the spiral system that allows to start at any point. Once the plot is finished, the loom can be disassembled, to eliminate tension, and then carefully remove the garment. The closures of the dress may be of any known type, or may be formed by interlacing threads.
As will be understood, the operations described in the foregoing as manuals, may be capable of mechanization with the appropriate means, without thereby altering the essence of the invention.
The invention therefore provides a different, easier and faster way to design and buy a garment, custom-made, and without having to try on the garments, all with the assurance that the finished garment will fit perfectly . Furthermore, as has been said, the garments are in one piece, the garment-fabric being integrally joined to form a single unit. The use of computers and specific programs of design and visualization, in the place of purchase, where the interested party can see, with a scanning operation, its exact measurements on the screen, and be dressed with virtually the type of garment that you want, allows the buyer to choose the garment that best suits their taste, conditions and preferences, this information being sent automatically to the loom for the start and completion of the requested garment, prior preparation of the corresponding sections. In any case, the use of computers even allows that by means of a card or similar, a user can make use of a machine designed for that purpose, to be able to see the designs coupled virtually to his body, or even to access, through a network, to databases in which certain collections are contained, with their measurements and proportions. With the invention, results equivalent to those of the haute couture sector have been achieved, since the garments are always made to measure and to the taste of the user.
It is not considered necessary to broaden the content of this description so that an expert in the field can understand its scope and the advantages derived from the invention, as well as develop and carry out the object of the invention.
However, it should be understood that the invention has been described according to a preferred embodiment thereof, so that it may be susceptible to modifications without implying any alteration of the basis of said invention, and may affect such modifications, in particular, to the form , the size and / or the materials of manufacture of the set or its parts.
