Abstract

La invencion trata de un polimero sensible a pH que es un copolimero de metacrilato compuesto de 20 a 65% por peso de unidades de acido acrilico y/o metacrilico y 80 a 35% por peso de unidades de esteres de alquilo de 1 a 18 atomos de carbono de acido metacrilico, que se caracteriza en que tiene un peso molecular en el margen de 1,000 a 50,000 g/mol, y ocasiona por lo menos 60% de la hemolisis en pH 5.5, y menos de 5% de hemolisis en pH 7.4, en una concentracion de 150 °g/ml en una prueba de citotoxicidad con globulos rojos humanos. La invencion trata ademas del uso del polimero sensible a pH como un portador para biomoleculas farmaceuticamente efectivas o ingredientes farmaceuticos activos y como ingrediente de las formas de dosificacion correspondientes.
