Abstract
El metodo para evitar que asbesto ponga en libertad particulas transportadas por aire comprende secuencialmente calentar el asbesto en los siguientes valores de temperaturas circundantes y mantener el asbesto en estos valores circundantes de temperatura hasta que el asbesto cambie a los siguientes colores correspondientes: a) entre 125 degree F (52 degree C) y 175 degree F (79 degree C) hasta que el asbesto cambie a un color bermejo palido uniforme; b) entre 225 degree F (107 degree C) y 275 degree F (135 degree C) hasta que el asbesto cambie hasta un color bermejo obscuro uniforme; c) entre 325 degree F (163 degree C) y 375 degree F (191 degree C) hasta que el asbesto cambie a un color oscuro uniforme; d) entre 425 degree F (218 degree C) y 475 degree F (246 degree C) hasta que el asbesto cambie a un color rojo uniforme; e) entre 525 degree F (274 degree C) y 575 degree F (302 degree C) hasta que el asbesto cambie a un color gris uniforme; y f) entre 625 degree F (329 degree C) y 675 degree F (357 degree C) hasta que el asbesto cambie a un color blanco opaco uniforme; una vez que todo el asbesto ha alcanzado un color blanco opaco, la temperatura circundante es disminuida hasta una temperatura ambiente.
