Abstract
La presente invencion se relaciona a mejoras en metodos de fabricacion de sustratos que pueden utilizarse en formas y tamanos diversos para varias aplicaciones de autenticidad y seguridad, que combinan las ventajas de indicios formados de metalizacion o desmetalizacion de un elemento de seguridad y los efectos de cambio de color de materiales de cristal liquido. La invencion por lo tanto proporciona un metodo para fabricar un sustrato que comprende las etapas de aplicar un material protector oscuramente coloreado en al menos una parte de una capa metalica en un lado de una pelicula polimerica sustancialmente transparente, removiendo metal a partir de areas no cubiertas por el material protector para formar regiones desmetalizadas y aplicar un material de cristal liquido polimerico sobre el material protector y las regiones desmetalizadas.
