Abstract

Un soporte (1) de acuerdo a la invencion comprende un articulo de caucho. El soporte comprende: -una base sustancialmente cilindrica (2) que conforma la llanta de la rueda, -una corona sustancialmente cilindrica (3) que hace contacto con el interior de la porcion alta del neumatico en el caso de una caida de presion de inflado, pero dejando un espacio con relacion a la porcion alta a una presion de inflado nominal, y -un cuerpo anular (4) que conecta la base (2) a la corona (3). El articulo comprende un caucho, preferiblemente una mezcla de caucho natural y polibutadieno, una sal metalica de un acido carboxilico, preferiblemente dimetacrilato de zinc, una cantidad efectiva de negro de humo o silice, o ambos, y un peroxido para curar el soporte. El soporte (1) de la presente invencion proporciona reduccion en peso, histeresis reducida, estabilidad termica y estabilidad termo-oxidativa mejoradas, proporcionando asi una vida util mas larga.
