Abstract

Se describe un termometro electronico mejorado para mediciones de temperatura rectal, oral y axilar que incluye un modulo separable que aloja una sonda sensible a la temperatura y una camara de aislamiento, tambien como un suministro de cubiertas de sonda limpias, sin contaminar, desechables en un solo modulo codificado por colores. Cada modulo separable se puede poner en operacion de manera intercambiable con una sola unidad que calcula la temperatura. Este diseno de termometro reduce el riesgo de exposicion del paciente a todas las fuentes comunes de contaminacion encontradas en el uso de termometros electronicos al aislar la sonda, la camara de aislamiento y un suministro de cubiertas de sonda desechables sobre un modulo separable especializado.
